Who Is Amped Auto Rentals?
Amped Auto Rentals is a delivery-only car rental company based in Miami Gardens, Florida. It rents Tesla Model Y, Tesla Model 3, Chevrolet Equinox EV, Nissan Pathfinder SV and Nissan Rogue SV and delivers them fully charged to Miami International Airport, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, the PortMiami cruise terminals, hotels, Airbnbs and homes anywhere within 50 miles of Miami Gardens. Amped Auto Rentals exists to fix a problem every traveller in Miami knows: renting a car here means a shuttle, a queue, a counter, and a vehicle that often is not the one you booked. We built the opposite — the car comes to you, not the other way around.
We are small and we say so. Seven vehicles, five models, one service area. That is why the exact car you book is the exact car that arrives — there is no vehicle-class lottery and no “or similar” listing. It also means popular models book out, so a day or two of notice helps. We serve visitors, business travellers, snowbirds, people relocating, cruise passengers, and locals whose own car is in the shop.

📜 Registration & accreditation
On how long we have been doing this: the rental operation launched in 2025 and has completed 236 trips. The company behind it was incorporated in 2020 and runs more than one business, so we state those two facts separately rather than adding them together. The trip count is the number that actually describes rental experience, and Turo publishes it, not us. The Google and Turo ratings are also kept separate and never combined into a single figure. No storefront to find, no counter to wait at, no shuttle to catch. We bring the vehicle to your South Florida address and collect it from wherever you finish — even a different address, at no extra charge, inside the service area. That is how you skip the rental counter entirely.
Mostly electric, some petrol
Five of our seven vehicles are electric — Tesla Model Y, Tesla Model 3 and two Chevrolet Equinox EV RS — delivered at 100% charge with a South Florida charging guide. The two Nissans run on petrol, for anyone who would rather not think about charging.
Every fee published
We do not claim there are no fees — we publish all of them. Car rate, $10/day booking fee, 7.5% Florida sales tax, protection, delivery. The full schedule is below, including the ones that only apply if something goes wrong. Nothing appears at return that was not listed before you booked.
Free delivery at 7+ days
Book a week or longer and delivery and collection are free within 50 miles of Miami Gardens. Shorter rentals are a flat $120 covering both legs. See long term car rental from $2,040/month.
SunPass already fitted
Every vehicle carries an active SunPass transponder at no charge. Tolls are billed at cost after the rental — no daily transponder fee and no per-toll admin fee. Miami expressways are all-electronic, so this is not a small thing.

We collect, you get the hold released
We pick up from wherever you are, or a different address inside the service area at no charge. The $250 hold is released within 3–7 business days if no incidentals apply. See Section 11.

Every vehicle is cleaned, inspected and photographed before and after each rental. No disputes at return.
SunPass fitted, tolls at cost
No daily transponder fee and no per-toll admin fee. Do not add your own transponder — it can double-bill.
A hold, not a charge
The $250 security deposit is a pre-authorization hold, released within 3–7 business days after return if no incidentals apply. Section 11.
