If an operational issue affects the reserved vehicle, Amped Auto Rentals will contact the customer about available options. Reserving a day or two ahead helps when a particular model matters. The electric options are the Tesla Model Y, the Tesla Model 3 and the Chevrolet Equinox EV RS, and each comes with a South Florida charging guide. The two Nissan SUVs are gasoline, for anyone who would rather not think about charging.
Every fee published
Every charge is published rather than described as fee-free: the car rate, the $10/day booking fee, applicable taxes, coverage and delivery. The full schedule is below, including the charges that only apply if something goes wrong.
Delivery included at 7+ days

Every vehicle carries an active SunPass transponder. Applicable toll charges are reconciled after the rental through Amped Auto Rentals’ SunPass account.

Nothing in the second table applies to a normal rental returned on time, at its documented starting fuel or charge level, and clean. Gasoline vehicles must be returned at the same fuel level documented when the vehicle is released to the customer. Electric vehicles must be returned at the same charge level documented when the vehicle is released to the customer. Coverage: Customers may use qualifying personal auto insurance when the policy includes comprehensive and collision coverage that extends to the Amped rental vehicle and is verified through Canopy Connect before vehicle release. If you do not have qualifying personal auto insurance, Bonzah Standard Protection may be available for an eligible direct booking at $50.13 per day, subject to the provider’s applicable terms, limits, conditions and exclusions. We collect the vehicle
We collect from the agreed location, or from a different approved location within the service area when it is confirmed in advance. Applicable toll charges are reconciled after the rental through Amped Auto Rentals’ SunPass account. Do not add your own transponder — it can double-bill.
