Yes. Every rental must carry comprehensive and collision coverage — we can't release a vehicle without it. You have two options. Use your own policy at $0: if your personal auto insurance carries comprehensive and collision and extends to rental vehicles, it acts as primary coverage. We verify it through Canopy Connect before delivery; your declarations page must show both coverages with active dates (the insurance card alone isn't enough), and the named insured must match the renter. Yes. We offer Full Self-Driving (Supervised) as a $20/day add-on on eligible Tesla rentals. It can enable Auto Lane Change, Navigate on Autopilot, Autopark, Actually Smart Summon, and Traffic Light & Stop Sign Control, with a full hands-on tutorial at handoff. FSD (Supervised) is a driver-assistance feature — the driver must remain attentive, hands on the wheel when required, and in control of the vehicle at all times. Yes. Self-pickup is free at two designated Wawa meeting points: 2700 NW 183rd Street, Miami Gardens and 106 S State Road 7, Hollywood FL 33023. Both are meeting points only — not storefronts or offices. Choosing self-pickup removes the $120 delivery charge entirely on rentals shorter than 7 days. On rentals of 7 or more days, delivery to qualifying locations within approximately 50 miles of Miami Gardens is already free, so most long-stay renters take delivery instead.

The minimum age is 21. Renters aged 21–24 may be subject to a young driver surcharge — call (786) 981-1177 for the exact amount before booking. Every rental includes 300 miles per day. Miles beyond that are billed at the per-mile overage rate shown at booking. Unlimited mileage is available for $25/day on eligible rentals of 14 days or fewer — it has to be selected at booking, can't be added once the rental starts, and isn't available on rentals of 15 days or longer. For reference, Miami to Key West and back is roughly 330 miles total, so the standard allowance covers nearly every South Florida trip. Six add-ons are available: FSD (Supervised) at $20/day (Tesla only), unlimited mileage at $25/day (eligible rentals of 14 days or fewer), Skip Recharge at $40 per rental to waive the $35 Recharge Service Fee on a 20–74% return, a child safety seat at $10/day, a Coleman 62QT rolling cooler at $50 per trip, and an additional approved driver at $25. Skip Recharge is a $40 per rental add-on. Return the vehicle at 75% or higher and there is no return battery fee; between 20% and 74% a $35 Recharge Service Fee applies, and below 20% a $60 Low-Battery Fee applies instead — the two are not combined, and these thresholds apply regardless of the battery level at handoff. Skip Recharge waives only the $35 Recharge Service Fee on a 20–74% return. It does not waive the $60 Low-Battery Fee below 20%, and it does not cover charging used during the rental, which remains yours. Yes — a Safety 1st Grow & Go all-in-one convertible seat for $10/day, suitable for infants through toddlers. Request it at booking so we can install it before delivery. Florida Statute §316.613 requires an approved child restraint for every child age 5 and under, so if you're traveling with young kids this isn't optional under state law. The seat comes with the vehicle anywhere we deliver.

For direct bookings: cancel 48+ hours before your start time for a full refund including the delivery fee. Cancel 24–48 hours before and you get a refund minus one average day's cost plus 50% of the delivery fee. Less than 24 hours before start, there's no refund. There's also a 15-minute grace period right after booking for a 100% refund, and if you booked within 24 hours of your start time you can cancel free within 4 hours of booking. Not without our prior written approval, given before the rental begins. Driving out of state without approval is a material breach of the rental agreement and may eliminate protections under it. Operation in Mexico is prohibited under all circumstances. Florida road trips are welcome — Key West, Orlando, Tampa and Naples are all popular routes from Miami. Any trip more than 300 miles from your pickup location must be disclosed and approved in writing before the rental begins, and may require a higher refundable security deposit. Note that driving and vehicle return are governed separately: the vehicle must be returned to an approved location within Amped Auto Rentals' 50-mile South Florida service area from Miami Gardens, FL 33056.
