Charging a Tesla in Broward — 36 Supercharger Stalls Within Two Miles
Our Hollywood meeting point is itself a Tesla Supercharger site: twelve stalls, up to 325 kW, open 24/7. Two more fast-charging sites sit within 2.3 miles on the same road, for thirty-six Supercharger stalls plus CCS in a two-mile stretch of State Road 7.
The range question is the one first-time EV renters actually worry about, so here are the sites rather than reassurance. All three are open around the clock.

What we ask on return
Every Tesla is delivered at 100%. Bring it back at 80% or above. Below 80% there is a $35 fee, and below 20% it is $60. Because the Supercharger is on the same forecourt as the Hollywood handover, you top up where you hand the keys over rather than detouring on the way. Supercharger sessions during your rental are billed to us by Tesla and invoiced to you afterwards at cost, which may be after your deposit hold has already been released.

Every Tesla in the fleet has Autopilot. Full Self-Driving is fitted to selected vehicles — ask when you book if it matters to you.
Autopilot handles steering, speed and lane-keeping on divided highways, which is exactly the environment I-95, I-595, the Turnpike and I-75 provide between Fort Lauderdale and the rest of South Florida. On a long, slow-moving stretch of I-95 it is the difference between arriving tired and arriving fine.
It is a driver-assistance system, not an autonomous one. You stay responsible for the vehicle at all times, hands on the wheel and eyes on the road — Tesla is explicit about this and so are we. A1A, the causeways and the older grid streets around Las Olas are not the places to lean on it.

Insurance — two ways, and one of them is free
Comprehensive and collision cover is required on every rental and we cannot release a car without it. If your own auto policy carries both and extends to rental vehicles, that satisfies it at no extra cost — we verify through Canopy Connect before delivery, and your declarations page needs to show both coverages active for the full rental period with the named insured matching the renter. An insurance card on its own is not enough.

Why we are not the $39 you saw on a comparison site
Search for a Tesla in Fort Lauderdale and aggregators quote something in the thirties, with a market average nearer $66 a day. Those are base rates on an airport counter model. What is not in them: the airport concession recovery fee, the customer facility charge, the vehicle licence recovery fee, the daily toll transponder charge, and the hour you spend getting from your terminal to an off-site lot and back at the end of the trip.

- Tolls — included, at cost. Every vehicle carries an active SunPass transponder at no charge. No daily transponder fee, no toll package to buy, no administrative markup. Tolls are billed to you at cost after the rental. Traffic citations and red-light fines are separate and carry a $50 administrative fee each.
- Mileage. 300 miles a day included. Unlimited mileage is a flat $59 for the whole rental, but it has to be added at booking — it cannot be added once the rental starts.
- One-way returns — free. Finish somewhere other than where you started, at no extra charge, as long as it is inside Florida and within 50 miles of Miami Gardens 33056. Collect in Hollywood and leave the car at FLL, or the reverse.
- Security deposit. A $250 pre-authorisation hold, not a charge, released three to seven business days after return.

Who can rent
Minimum age 21, with a valid licence held for at least two years. Renters aged 21 to 24 may be subject to a young driver surcharge, disclosed at booking. Identity is verified in advance through Vouched, and every rental requires a printed, hand-signed credit card authorisation form — no vehicle is released until it is received and verified. Vehicles must stay within Florida.

Delivered to you
Fully charged to your Fort Lauderdale hotel, condo or Airbnb, anywhere within 50 miles of Miami Gardens 33056. The $120 covers both the drop-off and the collection.
If you are flying in, we meet you in the FLL Cypress Garage on level 7 — the exact level, row and space are sent by text with photographs before you land. Pickup and drop-off both run 5:00 AM to 11:30 PM, seven days a week.

You can return the Tesla to a different address from the one it was delivered to at no additional charge, provided it is within the service area and inside Florida. Collect in Hollywood and drop at FLL, take delivery at a Fort Lauderdale hotel and leave the car in Miami Beach — the fee is the same either way. Airport counters generally charge a drop fee for this; we do not.
What is near the Hollywood meeting point
Driving distance from 106 S State Road 7: Seminole Classic Casino 2.3 miles, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino 2.8 miles, Gulfstream Park 4.7, Aventura Mall 5.6, Hollywood Beach Broadwalk 5.8, FLL Airport 5.8 miles, about ten minutes, Port Everglades 7.9, and downtown Fort Lauderdale and Las Olas 9.0. Florida’s Turnpike is about half a mile west.
Two different “Hard Rock” venues — worth checking which one you mean.
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is at 1 Seminole Way, Hollywood, about 2.8 miles from the meeting point. That is the Guitar Hotel, Hard Rock Live’s 5,500-seat arena, DAER and the 4.5-acre pool.
Hard Rock Stadium is a different place — 347 Don Shula Drive in Miami Gardens, about four miles from here and roughly seven miles from the Seminole property.
