The things worth knowing before you pay, in plain language. Everything here comes from our Terms & Conditions, which govern in full.
👤 Who can rent
- Minimum age 21. Renters aged 21–24 may be subject to a young driver surcharge — call us for the exact amount before booking.
- Valid, unexpired driver's license held throughout the rental period.
- Identity verified before delivery — license, date of birth and a live photo.
- The payment card must be one you are legally authorized to use. If it belongs to someone else, both of you are jointly liable for charges.
- Additional drivers ($25) must be approved by us in writing before the rental.
Out-of-state and international licenses are accepted at our discretion — call (786) 981-1177 to confirm before you book.
🚗 Mileage & where you can drive
- Every rental includes 300 miles per day. Miles beyond that are billed at the per-mile rate shown at booking.
- Unlimited mileage is available for $25/day on eligible rentals of 14 days or fewer, and it must be selected at booking — it cannot be added once the rental starts. It is not available for rentals of 15 days or longer.
- The vehicle must stay within Florida. Driving out of state without prior written approval voids all coverage.
- Operation in Mexico is prohibited under all circumstances.
From Miami: Key West and back is roughly 330 miles total, Orlando about 235 miles each way, and Fort Lauderdale about 30 miles. The 300-mile daily allowance covers almost every South Florida trip.
⚡ Returning the vehicle
- Return the battery at 75% or higher for no Recharge Service Fee. Between 20% and 74%, a $35 Recharge Service Fee applies; below 20%, a $60 Low-Battery Fee applies instead. The two fees are not combined, and these thresholds apply regardless of the battery level at handoff.
- Rather not stop to charge before drop-off? Add Skip the Recharge for $40 per rental. It waives only the $35 Recharge Service Fee on a 20–74% return — you must still return at 20% or higher to avoid the $60 Low-Battery Fee, and it does not cover charging during the rental.
- You cover your own charging during the rental. Tesla Supercharger sessions are billed to us and invoiced after the rental ends.
- All keys, cables, adapters and accessories must come back with the car.
Every vehicle is 100% non-smoking and non-vaping, including cannabis and e-cigarettes. A flat $400 fee applies to any evidence of smoking, with no exceptions.
🛠️ Damage, deposit & if something goes wrong
- A $250 security deposit is collected at the time of booking. Any authorized charges under the rental agreement may be deducted from it, and the unused balance is refunded.
- We photograph the car at delivery and at pickup, and you get copies of both. That record is what protects you.
- New damage is claimed through whichever protection you chose — your own policy (your deductible applies) or Bonzah (their terms apply).
- Normal road grime is expected and never charged. Smoking is not — see the fee table below.
- Flat tyre or breakdown? Call (786) 981-1177. We're local and we come out.

Documented flight cancellations, hospitalization and natural disasters are reviewed case by case — send documentation within 48 hours. Booked through Turo instead? Turo's cancellation policy governs those trips, not this one.
