We don't stock full-size SUVs — no Chevrolet Suburban, Cadillac Escalade, GMC Yukon XL or Ford Expedition. We'd rather tell you now than have you find out at delivery.
The largest vehicle we run is the Nissan Pathfinder SV — a three-row midsize SUV seating 7-8 with a large cargo area, at $115/day. For most groups up to 8 that does the job, and it's a lot easier to park in South Beach or Coral Gables than a Suburban.
If you specifically need a body-on-frame full-size vehicle — towing, 9+ passengers, or a lot of luggage for 8 — a specialist agency is the better call. Not sure which side of that line you're on? Call (786) 981-1177 and we'll tell you straight.
You don't need a true 4x4. Everglades National Park, Shark Valley, the Anhinga Trail and the Tamiami Trail are all reached on paved roads, and the airboat operators sit directly off US-41. Any of our SUVs handles the trip comfortably.
From Miami it's roughly 40-60 miles each way depending on which entrance you use — well inside the 300 miles per day included with every rental.
One rule: off-road and unpaved-trail driving isn't permitted in any of our vehicles. Everything worth seeing out there is reachable on pavement anyway. Bring bug spray.

Florida law and our own policy require every rental to carry comprehensive and collision coverage. We cannot release a vehicle without it. You choose where that coverage comes from.
If your personal auto policy carries comprehensive and collision and extends to rental vehicles, it acts as primary coverage for the whole rental. Nothing extra to buy.

From Miami: the Everglades and back is 80–120 miles, Key West and back roughly 320, Fort Lauderdale about 30 each way, and Orlando one way about 235. The standard allowance covers most South Florida trips comfortably.
Worth doing the maths: multi-day discounts start at 3 days and free delivery starts at 7, so a longer rental is sometimes cheaper than a shorter one once parking is factored in. Tolls are billed at cost plus a $50 admin fee each, so use SunPass-friendly routes where possible.
Every vehicle is 100% non-smoking and non-vaping, including cannabis and e-cigarettes. A flat $400 fee applies to any evidence of smoking. Sand and saltwater are fine — normal beach use is expected and never charged for.
