Amped Auto Rentals rents specific gasoline and electric SUVs in Miami and delivers them to hotels, homes, Airbnbs, Miami International Airport (MIA), Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and other qualifying locations across Miami-Dade County, Broward County and qualifying parts of Palm Beach County within Amped Auto Rentals’ 50-mile service area. Designated self-pickup is also available, and there is no traditional rental counter. Current SUV choices are the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV RS ($85/day), the 2026 Nissan Rogue SV ($90/day), the Tesla Model Y ($95/day) and the 2025 Nissan Pathfinder SV ($115/day). We don't stock full-size SUVs — no Chevrolet Suburban, Cadillac Escalade, GMC Yukon XL or Ford Expedition. We'd rather tell you now than have you find out at delivery.
The largest vehicle we run is the Nissan Pathfinder SV — a three-row midsize SUV seating 8, at $115/day. For most groups that does the job, and it's a lot easier to park in South Beach or Coral Gables than a Suburban.
If you specifically need a body-on-frame full-size vehicle — towing, 9+ passengers, or a lot of luggage for 8 — a specialist agency is the better call. Not sure which side of that line you're on? Call (786) 981-1177 and we'll tell you straight.
You don't need a true 4x4. Everglades National Park, Shark Valley, the Anhinga Trail and the Tamiami Trail are all reached on paved roads, and airboat operators are located along US-41. A conventional SUV is generally sufficient for the normal paved visitor routes; Amped vehicles are not permitted for off-road use.
From Miami it's roughly 40-60 miles each way depending on which entrance you use — well inside the 300 miles per day included with every rental.
One rule: off-road and unpaved-trail driving isn't permitted in any of our vehicles. Everything worth seeing out there is reachable on pavement anyway. Bring bug spray.

Every Amped Auto Rentals rental needs qualifying coverage before the vehicle is released. You choose where that coverage comes from.
Customers may use qualifying personal auto insurance when the policy includes comprehensive and collision coverage that extends to the Amped rental vehicle and is verified through Canopy Connect before vehicle release.

If you do not have qualifying personal auto insurance, Bonzah Standard Protection may be available for an eligible direct booking at $50.13 per day, subject to the provider’s applicable terms, limits, conditions and exclusions.

Out-of-state and international licenses are accepted at our discretion. Miami draws visitors from across Latin America and Europe — call (786) 981-1177 to confirm before you fly.
From Miami: the Everglades and back is 80–120 miles, Key West and back roughly 320, Fort Lauderdale about 30 each way, and Orlando one way about 235. The standard allowance covers most South Florida trips comfortably.
Worth doing the maths: multi-day discounts start at 3 days and free delivery starts at 7, so a longer rental is sometimes cheaper than a shorter one once parking is factored in. Applicable toll charges are reconciled after the rental through Amped Auto Rentals’ SunPass account.
Every vehicle is 100% non-smoking and non-vaping, including cannabis and e-cigarettes. A flat $400 fee applies to any evidence of smoking. Sand and saltwater are fine — normal beach use is expected and never charged for.

None of these apply to a normal rental returned on time, at its documented starting fuel or charge level, and clean.
Cancel in writing to [email protected] or through the booking platform. Refunds process in 3–5 business days.
Documented flight cancellations, hospitalization and natural disasters are reviewed case by case — send documentation within 48 hours. Booked through Turo instead? Turo's cancellation policy governs those trips, not this one.
Amped Auto Rentals has no airport counter. Both airports use a scheduled garage handoff arranged with the reservation.
Miami International Airport (MIA). The SUV is staged at an approved airport garage location arranged with your reservation, and the pickup details are sent before arrival. Full detail is on the Miami car rental delivery page.
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). The handoff takes place in the Peer-to-Peer area of the Cypress Garage, Level 7. Terminal 1 connects by sky bridge; Terminals 2, 3 and 4 use the airport shuttle. Full directions are on the Fort Lauderdale and FLL page.
At both airports the guest pays the parking exit fee at pickup, and Amped Auto Rentals pays it on return. Cruise travelers continuing from PortMiami are handled the same way.
