👤 Who can rent
- Minimum age 21. Renters aged 21–24 may be subject to a young driver surcharge — call us for the exact amount before booking.
- Valid, unexpired driver's license held throughout the rental period.
- Identity verified before delivery — license, date of birth and a live photo.
- The payment card must be one you are legally authorized to use. If it belongs to someone else, both of you are jointly liable.
- Additional drivers ($25) must be approved by us in writing before the rental.
Out-of-state and international licenses are accepted at our discretion. Boca Raton and Delray Beach draw seasonal residents from the Northeast and Canada — call (786) 981-1177 to confirm before you fly.
🚗 Mileage & where you can drive
- Every rental includes 300 miles per day. Miles beyond that are billed at the per-mile rate shown at booking.
- Unlimited mileage is a flat $59 per rental, but it must be added at booking — it cannot be added once the rental starts.
- The vehicle must stay within Florida. Driving out of state without prior written approval voids all coverage.
- Operation in Mexico is prohibited under all circumstances.
From Boca Raton: Fort Lauderdale is about 20 miles each way, Miami about 45, Hard Rock Stadium about 35, Palm Beach about 25, and Key West and back roughly 400 miles total. The standard allowance covers most South Florida trips comfortably.
🚗 Parking in Boca & Delray
- Beachfront hotel valet typically runs $25–$45 per night — worth checking your property's rate before booking a car for your whole stay.
- Public garages around Mizner Park and Atlantic Avenue are cheaper than beachfront valet.
- Street parking on and around Atlantic Avenue is metered and fills up fast on weekends and in season.
- Because we deliver and collect, many guests rent only for the days they actually need a car.
Worth doing the maths: multi-day discounts start at 3 days and free delivery starts at 7, so a longer rental is sometimes cheaper than a shorter one once parking is factored in. Tolls are billed at cost plus a $50 admin fee each, so use SunPass-friendly routes where possible.
⚡ Returning the vehicle
- Return with the battery at or above the level delivered (minimum 80%). Below 80% is a $35 fee; below 20% is $60.
- Rather not stop to charge? Add Prepaid EV recharge for $40 and leave at least 30 miles of range.
- You cover your own charging during the rental. Supercharger sessions are billed to us and invoiced after the rental ends.
- All keys, cables, adapters and accessories must come back with the car.
Every vehicle is 100% non-smoking and non-vaping, including cannabis and e-cigarettes. A flat $400 fee applies to any evidence of smoking. Sand and saltwater are fine — normal beach use is expected and never charged for.
