We bring the rental car to your hotel, airport garage, Airbnb, or cruise terminal anywhere in Miami, Fort Lauderdale & South Florida — fully charged, SunPass already installed, ready to drive.
Amped Auto Rentals is a delivery-only car rental service in Miami. We bring a Tesla, EV, or SUV to your hotel, airport, Airbnb, cruise terminal, or home anywhere within 50 miles of Miami Gardens — fully charged, with a SunPass transponder already installed.
Is there a service that delivers a rental car to me in Miami? Yes. We deliver to your hotel, Airbnb, MIA or FLL airport garage, cruise terminal, or home across South Florida. Rates start at $85/day — Equinox EV $85, Tesla Model 3 $89, Nissan Rogue SV $90, Tesla Model Y $95, Pathfinder SV $115 — plus a $10/day booking fee, 7.5% Florida sales tax, and a $250 refundable pre-authorization hold. Delivery is free on 7+ day rentals within 50 miles, or $120 flat for shorter rentals. You can also return the car to a different address inside the service area at no extra charge. Call or text (786) 981-1177.
No. The five Greater Miami Expressway Agency roads — the Dolphin (SR-836), Airport Expressway (SR-112), Don Shula (SR-874), Snapper Creek (SR-878) and Gratigny Parkway (SR-924) — are all-electronic, and so are the I-95, I-75 and I-595 express lanes. There is no booth, no basket and no cash option anywhere on them. Drivers who assume they can pay at a booth simply pass a camera and are billed later at the higher Toll-by-Plate rate. Every Amped Auto Rentals vehicle has a SunPass transponder already fitted, so this never arises. Full toll explainer →
The gantry photographs the plate and the registered owner is billed by mail under Toll-by-Plate, charged at double the SunPass rate — roughly $0.70 against $1.40 on the Airport Expressway, or $2.40 against $4.80 along the full Dolphin Expressway. In a rental that invoice reaches the rental company, which passes it to you, usually with an admin fee attached. Our vehicles run a live SunPass transponder, so you pay the lower rate and we pass it through at cost. Full toll explainer →
Tolled: Florida’s Turnpike and the Homestead Extension · Dolphin Expressway (SR-836) · Airport Expressway (SR-112) · Don Shula (SR-874) · Snapper Creek (SR-878) · Gratigny Parkway (SR-924) · the I-95, I-75, I-595 and Palmetto express lanes · the Rickenbacker Causeway · the Venetian Causeway · Card Sound Bridge.
Not tolled: the MacArthur and Julia Tuttle Causeways — the two routes most visitors take to Miami Beach — plus US-1, Biscayne Boulevard, A1A and the regular lanes of I-95 and the Palmetto. Full toll explainer →
Not once you are on US-1. The Overseas Highway from Florida City to Key West is toll-free for its entire length, including all forty-two bridges. The only tolled alternative is Card Sound Bridge, a scenic detour near Key Largo that most drivers skip. Getting from Miami down to Florida City you can take the Homestead Extension of the Turnpike, which is tolled, or US-1 south, which is not. The round trip is roughly 330 miles — plan your charging before your tolls.
Amped Auto Rentals publishes fixed rates. No dynamic pricing, no rate that changes between the search and the checkout, and no vehicle class lottery — you get the exact car you booked.

Tolls are the most common unpleasant surprise on a Miami rental bill. Here is how the system actually works, what other rental companies typically charge for it, and what Amped Auto Rentals does instead.
Amped Auto Rentals vehicles do. Every car in the fleet has a SunPass transponder already installed and active. You drive through the SunPass lanes like a local — no stopping, no cash, no decision to make at a counter, because there is no counter.
Tolls are the one cost we cannot quote up front, because it depends entirely on where you drive. Everything else on this page is a published fixed rate.
No. The five Greater Miami Expressway Agency roads — the Dolphin (SR-836), Airport Expressway (SR-112), Don Shula (SR-874), Snapper Creek (SR-878) and Gratigny Parkway (SR-924) — are all-electronic. There is no booth, no basket and no cash option anywhere on them. The I-95, I-75 and I-595 express lanes are the same. Visitors who assume they can pay at a booth simply drive through a camera and get billed later.
The gantry photographs the plate and the registered owner is billed by mail under Toll-by-Plate, which is charged at double the SunPass rate. On the Airport Expressway that is the difference between roughly $0.70 and $1.40; along the full length of the Dolphin Expressway, roughly $2.40 against $4.80. In a rental, that invoice goes to the rental company, which then passes it to you — usually with an administrative fee attached. Because our cars run a live SunPass transponder, you pay the lower rate and we pass it through without a markup.
It varies by company, and the structure matters more than the headline. The three arrangements renters most often report are a flat daily transponder fee charged for every day of the rental whether or not a toll road is used; a per-toll administrative fee added on top of each individual toll; and pay-by-plate billing at the doubled rate plus a processing charge. On a short trip with light toll use, the fees can exceed the tolls themselves by a wide margin. Always ask which of the three you are being signed up for, and whether the fee applies on days you never touch a toll road.
Amped Auto Rentals uses none of the three. The transponder is already in the car, and you pay the toll rate and nothing else.
Not in ours, and please don’t try. The vehicle already has an active transponder fitted. Adding a second one — a sticker, a Mini or a portable PRO on the windscreen — can cause the gantry to read both and bill the toll twice, once to your account and once to ours. If you already own a SunPass, leave it in your own car. You lose nothing: you are charged the same SunPass rate either way.
Tolled: Florida’s Turnpike and the Homestead Extension (SR-821) · Dolphin Expressway (SR-836) · Airport Expressway (SR-112) · Don Shula (SR-874) · Snapper Creek (SR-878) · Gratigny Parkway (SR-924) · the I-95, I-75 and I-595 express lanes · the Palmetto (SR-826) express lanes · the Rickenbacker Causeway to Key Biscayne · the Venetian Causeway · Card Sound Bridge in the Keys.
Not tolled: the MacArthur Causeway and the Julia Tuttle Causeway — the two routes most visitors take to Miami Beach · US-1 · Biscayne Boulevard · A1A · the non-express lanes of I-95 and the Palmetto.
If you are driving between the airport and Miami Beach, you can do the whole trip toll-free on I-395 and the MacArthur, or take SR-112 and the Julia Tuttle and pay one small toll on the 112. Both are about the same length.
Not once you are on US-1. The Overseas Highway from Florida City to Key West is toll-free for its entire length, including all forty-two bridges. The only tolled alternative is the Card Sound Bridge, a scenic detour near Key Largo that most drivers skip. Getting from Miami down to Florida City, you can choose the Homestead Extension of the Turnpike, which is tolled, or US-1 south, which is not. Either way, plan your charging before your tolls — see where to charge your rental.
Yes, we will bring the car to you. How airport, hotel and home delivery works across South Florida — from the meeting point to driving away.
Airport, hotel and home delivery across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. Free on rentals of 7 days or more within 50 miles.
Our rental policy requires every rental to carry comprehensive and collision coverage, and we cannot release a vehicle without it. Florida law separately requires liability and personal injury protection coverage. You choose where the comprehensive and collision comes from.
If your personal auto policy carries comprehensive and collision and extends to rental vehicles, it acts as primary coverage for the whole rental. Nothing extra to buy.
Your own policy becomes primary, so a claim goes through your insurer and your deductible applies. Not sure whether yours qualifies? Call or text (786) 981-1177 and we will check before you book. See also: renting long-term without personal auto insurance.
Rental protection provided by Bonzah and purchased during checkout. Nothing to verify, no reliance on your personal policy or deductible.
Because this is billed daily, it adds up on longer trips — roughly $1,504 over 30 days. Renting monthly without your own policy? Call (786) 981-1177 about booking through our Turo listings instead, where protection on longer trips is priced more favourably.

Call or text (786) 981-1177 or book at book.ampedautorentals.com. We deliver Tesla, EV, and SUV rentals to hotels, airports, Airbnbs, cruise terminals, and homes anywhere within 50 miles of Miami Gardens. Delivery is free on rentals of 7+ days, or $120 flat for shorter rentals. A $250 refundable pre-authorization hold is placed at booking or delivery.
Delivery is free on 7+ day rentals within 50 miles. Under 7 days it is a flat $120 covering drop-off and pickup. Vehicle rates: Equinox EV $85, Model 3 $89, Rogue SV $90, Model Y $95, Pathfinder SV $115. Weekly from $535.50 and monthly from $2,040. Add a $10/day booking fee and 7.5% Florida sales tax. Yes, and there is no extra charge for it. Amped Auto Rentals can collect the vehicle from a different address than we delivered it to — picked up at your Miami Beach hotel and returned at Fort Lauderdale airport, for example. On rentals under 7 days the $120 delivery fee covers both the drop-off and the collection; on rentals of 7 days or more, delivery and collection are both free. The only condition is that the return location sits inside our 50-mile service area across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. We cannot accept returns in Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, or anywhere outside Florida, and the vehicle must remain in Florida for the whole rental.
Miami expressways are all-electronic — at most toll points there is no cash option. Every Amped vehicle has a SunPass transponder already installed, so you just drive through the SunPass lanes. Tolls are billed to you after return at cost, with no administrative or per-day service fee. Do not attach your own transponder, as it can double-bill. See the full toll explainer above.
Yes. We meet you at MIA in the Dolphin or Flamingo Garage, and at FLL in the Cypress Garage, level 7. Text your flight details to (786) 981-1177 and we time the delivery to your actual landing. No counter queue and no shuttle to a remote car lot.
Yes. Amped Auto Rentals delivers to hotels across Miami Beach, including the Loews Miami Beach Hotel and the AC Hotel by Marriott Miami Beach, and to any other hotel, Airbnb or private address within 50 miles of Miami Gardens. Most hotel deliveries are contactless: the vehicle is left at the address you give us with the keys secured inside and instructions sent by text. Delivery is free on rentals of 7 days or more, or $120 flat for shorter rentals.
We deliver to PortMiami and Port Everglades. Depending on terminal access on your sailing date, we either meet you curbside at the terminal or at a nearby garage minutes away, arranged in advance. Cruise passengers benefit most from delivery, since the usual alternative is a shuttle to an off-port branch.
Our rental policy requires comprehensive and collision coverage on every rental, and we cannot release a vehicle without it. If your personal auto policy carries both and extends to rentals you can use it at no cost, verified via Canopy Connect before delivery. Otherwise Bonzah Standard Protection is $50.13/day, added at checkout. Florida law separately requires liability and personal injury protection coverage. See the full comparison.
The Chevrolet Equinox EV RS ($85/day), Tesla Model 3 ($89), Nissan Rogue SV ($90), Tesla Model Y ($95), and the 8-passenger Nissan Pathfinder SV ($115). You get the exact vehicle you booked — no “or similar” substitution. EVs arrive fully charged, gas SUVs fully fueled.
On rentals of 7 days or more delivery is free, so there is no delivery cost to weigh at all. Airport rentals also carry concession recovery fees and customer facility charges that off-airport delivery does not, though these vary by company. The clearer saving is time — no queue, no shuttle, and no return trip to the lot.
Yes, based on vehicle availability, and renters have been on the road within a few hours of booking. For guaranteed same-day service call (786) 981-1177 rather than booking online. We recommend booking 24 hours ahead to secure a specific vehicle — the fleet is 7 vehicles and popular models book out.

No. Collection is included in the delivery arrangement, not charged separately. On rentals under 7 days the flat $120 covers both the drop-off and the collection. On rentals of 7 days or more within 50 miles, both are free. You can also return the vehicle to a different address than the one it was delivered to, at no extra charge, as long as it stays inside the 50-mile service area.
