👤 Who can rent
- Minimum age 21. Renters aged 21–24 may be subject to a young driver surcharge — call us for the exact amount before booking.
- Valid, unexpired driver's license held throughout the rental period.
- Identity verified before delivery — license, date of birth and a live photo.
- The payment card must be one you are legally authorized to use. If it belongs to someone else, both of you are jointly liable.
- Additional drivers ($25) must be approved by us in writing before the rental.
Out-of-state and international licenses are accepted at our discretion — call (786) 981-1177 to confirm before you fly.
🚗 Mileage & where you can drive
- Every rental includes 300 miles per day. Miles beyond that are billed at the per-mile rate shown at booking.
- Unlimited mileage is $25/day on eligible rentals of 14 days or fewer and must be selected at booking; it cannot be added after the rental starts.
- The vehicle must stay within Florida. Driving out of state without prior written approval voids all coverage.
- Operation in Mexico is prohibited under all circumstances.
From Fort Lauderdale: Miami is about 30 miles each way, Palm Beach about 50, Orlando about 200, and Key West and back roughly 400 miles total.
⚡ Returning the vehicle
- The vehicle is delivered with the starting charge level documented at handoff. Return-charge expectations and any recharge fees are disclosed during booking and confirmed before vehicle release. Direct bookings must be returned at 75% or higher to avoid a recharge fee: a return at 20–74% carries a $35 Recharge Service Fee and below 20% a $60 Low-Battery Recharge Service Fee.
- Rather not stop to charge before drop-off? Add Skip the Recharge for $40, which waives the $35 fee only; a return below 20% still carries the $60 fee. Supercharger sessions during the rental are billed after the trip when applicable.
- You cover your own charging during the rental. Supercharger sessions are billed to us and invoiced after the rental ends.
- All keys, cables, adapters and accessories must come back with the car.
Every vehicle is 100% non-smoking and non-vaping, including cannabis and e-cigarettes. A flat $400 fee applies to any evidence of smoking.
🛠️ Deposit, damage & if something goes wrong
- A $250 security deposit is collected at the time of booking; any authorized charges under the rental agreement may be deducted from it, and the unused balance is refunded.
- We photograph the car at delivery and at collection, and you get copies of both.
- New damage is claimed through whichever protection you chose — your own policy or Bonzah.
- Normal road grime is expected and never charged.

We would rather state the deposit and damage terms plainly here than have you find them at handover.
None of these apply to a normal rental returned on time, charged and clean. They are listed so nothing surprises you.
